Live and work how you were designed.

It’s time to stop going through the motions. Learn what truly energizes and drains you—so you can realign your work, your team, and your family life with greater purpose.

You Weren't Made to Drift Through Life

Every person is designed with a unique way of working, thinking, and engaging with the world. And yet, most people build their lives and leadership around expectations, demands, and habits—without ever understanding how they’re actually wired to function.Over time, this misalignment creates restlessness and a lack of fulfillment. For leaders, it often shows up as frustration, fatigue, or leadership feeling harder than it should. For teams, it leads to miscommunication, tension, and capable people struggling to work well together. And at home, the same patterns surface as unnecessary conflict, missed connection, and difficulty guiding or supporting one another. But you don’t have to stay stuck in those patterns. When people understand how they’re designed to function—and apply that understanding to how they work, communicate, and relate—individuals experience greater fulfillment, teams collaborate more effectively, and families grow healthier and more connected.

The 6 Types of Working Genius

A proven framework for understanding how you’re designed to work

There is a practical way to understand why certain work fits you while others consistently create friction. The Working Genius framework offers a proven model for making sense of how work actually functions and how you’re naturally wired within it.This model breaks work into six essential activities that are present in every project, team, and household. You’re naturally energized by some of these activities, capable in others, and drained by the rest. Those patterns quietly shape how you lead, collaborate, and relate—often without being named. This isn’t a personality test or a labeling exercise. It gives you a deeper understanding and shared language for how work moves, where tension comes from, and why the same challenges tend to repeat. When you apply this insight, work becomes more meaningful, teams function more effectively, and family relationships grow healthier. Instead of relying on effort alone, you begin operating from fit—creating space for greater purpose and fulfillment across every area of life.

How We Can Work Together

Speaking & Keynotes

For conferences, organizations, churches, and schools, I deliver engaging talks that introduce a proven framework for understanding how people are designed to work together. These sessions help audiences see themselves—and the people around them—in a new light, creating shared language and immediate insight that sets the stage for healthier collaboration and leadership.

Team Workshops

I work directly with leadership teams and organizations to apply the principles of The 6 Types of Working Genius in practical, actionable ways. These workshops help teams clarify roles, improve communication, reduce friction, and leverage each person’s natural strengths. The result is not just better teamwork, but a more sustainable and effective way of working together.

Individual Coaching

For leaders and business owners who want a more personalized approach, I offer one-on-one coaching. Together, we apply this framework to your specific responsibilities, challenges, and relationships—helping you make practical changes in how you lead, communicate, and show up in the areas that matter most.

Family Workshops

The same framework that helps teams function better can also strengthen families—when it’s applied intentionally. Family workshops focus on understanding how each person is wired, improving communication, and helping parents guide and support their kids with greater empathy. These sessions create space for healthier relationships and more meaningful connection at home.

About Jonathan Hawley

I’ve spent most of my career leading teams, navigating growth, and carrying the weight of real responsibility. Over time, one pattern became impossible to ignore: alignment matters just as much as effort when it comes to how people work and lead. When the way work is structured doesn’t fit how people are designed, frustration builds, momentum slows, and unnecessary tension shows up.That conviction was formed through years of hands-on leadership, including two decades at Neogen, where I helped lead and grow sales teams through change and complexity. Along the way, I became deeply interested in why some people and teams thrive while others struggle—even when everyone is committed and capable. When I encountered the Working Genius framework, it gave language and structure to what I had already seen play out in real life.Today, my work is grounded in a simple belief: people are designed with intention and purpose, and life works better when that design is understood and applied.Whether I’m working with leaders, teams, or families, my role isn’t to fix people—it’s to help them see themselves and others more clearly, then apply that understanding in practical ways that lead to healthier relationships, more effective work, and greater fulfillment.
